We flew to San Francisco, drove to Monterey (2 hours), then drove to Napa (4 hours) for dinner, then drove to Mountain House (1 1/2 hours), then to Berkeley (1 hour) for classes, and etc ... you get the idea ... truly an ordeal. It was partly (okay, mainly) my fault for planning the trip the night before when reservations were made months in advance. I seriously thought everything was within 20 miles from San Francisco. Even though Yosuke was having the biggest headache ever due to lack of sleep, he was truly a trooper ... willing to suffer so I can get my fix with photo op's. I was very skeptical when I first met him ... But I've learned to realize that my relationship with him is like a new pair of shoes. First, I choose by its appearance, but I don't know if they would fit or not so I have to try them on. Even if they fit me perfectly, I might still get blisters from them.
Yosuke and I enjoyed our meal at Blue Point Coastal Cuisine very much for the New Year's. Thank you so much Robert! We were once again too excited about the food ... so we didn't take any photos with my camera. But here's a photo of the gift card holder :D I thought it looks pretty neat.
A little announcement: We'll be in San Francisco and Monterey from 1/8-1/12. We'll do our best to get through the emails during those times.
I love laughter. I love the way it looks and sounds, because laughter portrays the happiest part of a person and I'm very attracted to it. As a photographer, when I'm able to document laughter, I feel very lucky. Evan has the cutest laugh ever ... when he laughs he would make "tssst tssst tssst" sound. Beside loving Evan's laugh, I also love all the texture this session had in it, the leaves, big huge embellished doors and walkways, rock walls, green grasses, etc... I should stop describing and just show you the photos ... :D
There are days when I have the most random thoughts. Like today, for instance. I work from home, alone in my office (aka Yosuke's bedroom) most the day, so my thoughts keep me company. I'll be the first to say I'm a wee bit peculiar, but I'm okay with that. Too bad I can't take a snapshot of my brain and share the randomness with you. :D But I can share photos from the wonderful session I had with the Ha's right before 2009 ended. The dad is a photographer himself so there was a lot of pressure on me. I hope that I've exceeded their expections.
