I began photography as an enthusiastic hobbyist and gradually developed as a professional through intensive study of the craft on my own, lots of practice, and the invaluable mentoring by consummate pros. My style is candid, comfortable, and no stress. I believe photos look better when people are relaxed.
One of the things setting me apart from most other portrait and event photographers is that every final proof image is post-processed for maximum quality. I dedicate on average about 20 hours of my time to each one hour individual session and hundreds of hours on a wedding. Insane? I know! But I love what I do.
It is my passion to capture the happiest and greatest moments in people's lives in their raw and true form. It is my obsession to turn these moments into works of art. Someone once said "a picture is worth a thousand words." My motto is "a photograph brings back a thousand memories."
